The following information is for Drexel graduate students enrolled in quarter programs who intend to complete their program/degree requirements and graduate this spring or summer term. If this information does not apply to you, please disregard. Graduation dates and deadlines for Academic Year 2021-2022 will be posted on the Graduate College website over the summer.
First, we recognize that we are all experiencing an unprecedented set of circumstances due to COVID-19. We have encouraged all departments/programs to be flexible in accommodating disruptions to graduate students’ academic milestones. We encourage all students to maintain regular communication with your academic advisor(s) who can help you work through any concerns related to your academic progress as a result of COVID-19.
Students who are planning to complete their degree requirements MUST adhere to the deadlines and procedures outlined below.
Please note that individual programs/departments may have additional deadlines and requirements. We encourage you to discuss your graduation plans with your academic advisor(s).
Spring Quarter 2021
Students planning to complete their degree requirements and graduate at the end of the spring quarter MUST submit an “Application for Degree” via DrexelOne by Friday, April 23, 2021 in order to:

PhD and doctoral-level students, as well as some Master’s programs with thesis or dissertation requirements: In addition to the deadlines and requirements listed above, it is recommended that students schedule their final oral defense (Form D-4) to allow enough time to complete any edits/revisions and re-submit for approval prior to the spring quarter completion deadline which is 4 p.m. ET Friday, June 25, 2021. All doctoral and completion forms listed on the Graduate College website, including the Graduate Program Completion Form, must be submitted to graduatecollege@drexel.edu by 4 p.m. ET Friday, June 25, 2021.
